Bosch Heat pump maintenance Provincial home services did the installation and now are being sued after going bankrupt. His unit was installed with the disconnect completed blocked by the unit, if an emergency happened at the outdoor unit, the disconnect is not easily accessible. Perform routine heatpump maintenance on Bosch heat pump System is fully operational. Submitted quote required form to fix the accessibility of the disconnect that is un accessible. Provided a quote for replacing existing electric tank that was changed out by provincial home services with the heat pump.
Lennox Furnace Maintenance Cleaned and inspected furnace cabinet Inspected all electrical components Tested gas pressure Preformed combustion analysis Everything is working well. System is in great condition No concerns found today
Work Performed Responded to service call for a faulty thermostat. Advised client on replacement pricing for a new thermostat. Discussed maintenance options; client joined the Comfort Club. Completed full maintenance on both furnace and AC systems. Results Furnace: Payne furnace (installed ~2013) operating normally. AC: Payne installed same as furnace. Operating well; no issues detected. Both systems are functioning efficiently at this time. Maintenance Checklist Checked burners and heat exchanger. Inspected and tested all safety controls. Checked air filter. Inspected thermostat operation. Inspected condenser coil and outdoor unit. Checked refrigerant levels and airflow. Checked and tested blower operation and fan speeds. Verified proper system operation in both heating and cooling modes.
AC Repair Supply and replace compressor in Lennox AC unit Installed new compressor. Tested system. Charged unit to spec System is running well
Work Performed Responded to no cooling call; found outdoor AC unit not running due to failed capacitor. Replaced capacitor and restored power to unit. Performed full air conditioner maintenance as part of new Comfort Club enrollment, including cleaning the outdoor unit. Checked refrigerant levels and temperature drop — both within normal range. Tightened bolts on outdoor unit and applied WD-40 to reduce vibration noise. Results AC system is now operating normally with good cooling performance. Refrigerant levels and temperature drop confirmed normal. Outdoor unit cleaned; noise reduced, though outdoor fan motor still shows slightly higher vibration than typical. Recommendations Monitor vibration from outdoor fan motor; may indicate early wear. Continue regular maintenance through Comfort Club to maximize lifespan. System is from 2009 and in decent shape; no immediate replacement needed.
AC was low on refrigerant upon arrival. Discussed repair vs replace options. Used seal kit to try to fix leak in system, explained this is not a guaranteed fix but it can work well sometimes. Added seal kit and 4lb of refrigerant to the system. AC is now cooing well with 20f temp drop between return and supply ducts.
Carrier AC maintenance and inspection Inspected condenser unit Inspected all electrical components Tested refrigerant pressures I found no problems with system. Unit appears to be undersized for the home.
Work Performed: Responded to no cooling call. Client reported the outdoor unit had made a loud “jet engine” noise before shutting down and tripping the breaker. Results: Found 15A breaker tripped; replaced breaker. Inspected outdoor unit and found the condenser coil extremely clogged with debris. Cleaned the coil thoroughly with water before attempting to restart. Upon powering the unit, the breaker tripped immediately, and compressor made loud abnormal noise. Performed electrical diagnostics: tested all three compressor terminals to ground and found continuity to ground on each—compressor is shorted to ground. Tests were repeated using two separate ground points to confirm the diagnosis. Likely cause of failure is compressor overheating due to prolonged operation under very dirty coil conditions during recent extreme heat. Conclusion: The compressor has failed and will need to be replaced. Further repair or replacement options to be discussed with client.
AC Service call Found condenser fan to be running very slowly. Replaced capacitor. Unit is running well. No other concerns found today.
Lennox Furnace maintenance Cleaned and inspected furnace cabinet Inspected all electrical components Tested safety controls Tested gas pressure Performed combustion analysis System looks great. It’s heating well and I found no reasons for concern.
